With a track record of Chief People Officer and NED roles in high-growth businesses, Richard has over 25 years of strategic and operational HR experience across the globe in organizations spanning Telecoms, IT, Financial Services (Retail, Insurance & Private Wealth), Professional Services (Legal, Trust & Corporate Services) and Private Equity portfolios.
He is an industry thought leader in the fields of leadership, performance, culture and engagement, many elements of which were drawn together in his book on ‘Loving Leadership’ (Panoma Press, 2016).
Known for his commercial approach, PR skills, problem-solving, and creativity, Richard would add value to any leadership team taking their company through a period of growth, transformation, or change of ownership. He is passionate about enabling businesses to succeed commercially whilst still maintaining a strong values-based corporate conscience and a powerful, engaged and inclusive culture.
With a first-class degree in Biology and Psychology from Durham University, Richard is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD), and a British Psychological Society (BPS) Level A and B Psychometric Tester.
